What I Use......

Wire

I use Flex-rite 49 Jewellery wire - stirling silver plated steel. It offers the best strength, resistance to kinking but is still very flexible.

It is made up of 49 strands of sterling silver plated steel with a premium nylon coating. It will not tarnish.

For the embellisment I use silver plated wire with a copper core with a diameter of 0.8mm.

Also stirling silver round wire with a diameter of 0.5mm, 0.8mm and 1.0mm.

Fine silver round wire - 99.9% pure silver is also an option.

Also available is gold wire, gold plated copper core wire, brass wire or copper wire.

Leather Thong

Leather thong is also on offer in black or natural (brown) in a 2mm thickness.

The leather is supplied in two ways: -

1. No clasp or crimps so the leather is tied at what ever suitable length required (this is requested in the order)

2. With a stirling silver clasp and 2 stirling silver end crimps with loops.

Illusion Cord

Also on offer is illusion cord which is a clear nylon monofilament cord which is strong and soft but durable and nearly invisible. Excellent for wedding jewellery.

Gem Stones

Quality Gem stone beads in a varity of sizes from 4mm to 8mm.

Quality Gem Stone Chip Beads approximately 3mm - 8mm depending upon the type of gem stone used.

Range of polished and natural (raw) gem stone ranging in size from approx 20mm × 20mm upto 40 or 50mm

Selection of Quartz Crystals for individual pendants.

Paua Shell

Diamond, round or natural shape paua shell.

Paua shell is the shell from a marine snail from the same family as the Albalone (Haliotis Iris) or Ormer. Paua Shell is the most colorful of all the abalone shells.

Precious Metal Clay

Amazing stuff, like plasticine but a little bit more expensive.

A Japanese made combination of microscopic particles of silver with water and a non toxic organic binder which enables it to be worked as easily as modeling clay.

Once dried and either heated in a kiln or by using a small gas torch the water is driven off and the binder is burnt away with the silver particules fusing into 99.9% solid metal.
